This new product release is packed with new features such interactive data sorting, parameter filtering, report reformatting without database refresh, embedding Xcelsius model, flash and flex technology, streamlined report designer.
Web Intelligence Anywhere, Anytime
BusinessObjects Web Intelligence makes it even easier for users to answer any business question, no matter where they are. Use Web Intelligence to answer your questions when connected to your data sources, or when you are on the road and completely disconnected.

Business Intelligence (BI) Platform for Your Environment
With BusinessObjects XI 3.1, customers will find many improvements to BusinessObjects Enterprise, our BI platform, including easier information sharing and support for all users inside and outside their organization.
For this release, BusinessObjects Enterprise offers several areas of improvements:
- Improved Microsoft integration for all organizations relying on Microsoft technologies for their IT infrastructure
- Integration-ready with different Oracle applications and systems—including Oracle E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, and Siebel—to extend the reach of BI to all users
- A new life-cycle management application to manage the promotions of BI content between environments. This application, appearing as one of the central management console tabs, simplifies BI content management throughout its typical life cycle (development, testing, and production).
Data Services Eliminates Doubt
Data Services eliminates doubt by transforming questionable data into trusted information; thereby establishing a foundation of data integrity for your decisions. With it's single, enterprise environment, Data Services revolutionizes the way data integration and data quality functions are combined by optimizing the way data is accessed and managed.
Customer Spotlight
Banque Accord is currently in the process of implementing a new customer-focused company strategy under the CAP Clients name. The new strategy is being deployed via a range of very diverse channels: call centers, SMS, emails, account statements etc. Set Analysis and Web Intelligence on the new BusinessObjects XI Release 2 platform have been selected by Banque Accord as the tools to improve targeting of products at those customers who are eligible.
Intellicare's BI infrastructure only allowed for basic reporting, and could not keep up with client demand.
ASICS needed a reporting tool to enable its production department to quickly react to European market developments and fluctuating demand from retailers.
